This is an updated and re-issued statement regarding my flying solo from AE911Truth.
Early in September AE911Truth issued a press release and an e-mail with an unrelated subject line to supporters which included this vague statement in the 7th paragraph:
“…Richard Gage, organization founder, will no longer serve as the organization’s CEO.”
As you can imagine, this has raised many questions, which I decided to wait until after the 20th Anniversary date in order to address, so as not to distract from all of the important 9/11 Truth Movement events and activities.
Here’s the story, which is written on my own behalf—not on behalf of AE911Truth:
As you probably know by now we had been working with Spike Lee for months on what was one of the greatest opportunities the 9/11 Truth Movement has ever had to reach a wide mainstream audience, which would have been the final segment of his video documentary that was aired by HBO on September 11, 2021. That 30-minute segment, which included a dozen interviews with family members and technical experts (including myself) unfortunately was never broadcast. This action by Spike surely was at least in part due to enormous pressure from the Powers That Be, however my off-topic comments in a hallway interview at a major conference, quoted in Slate Magazine’s August 24th article, which they had to have made a major effort to find, was most likely a significant contributing factor.
Spike may well have been upset to see my comments quoted in the article, since the first two segments of his mini-series “Epicenter” focused on the devastation, particularly by Covid-19 in NYC, in which he makes clear that he agrees with the official narrative on that particular subject.
This was of course a great disappointment for all of us in the 9/11 Truth Movement and of course for me personally—to have worked so hard to reach that historic moment only for it to have collapsed like WTC 7. In those moments of speaking off-topic, of which this was not the first time, I failed to remember that I represent architects and engineers who have signed the AE911Truth Petition which is only about the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7 on September 11th, 2001—and nothing else. Any opinions that I hold about Covid-19 issues or any other off-mission topic based on research that I do on my own time had no place in an interview that I granted on behalf of AE911Truth.
For my part in bringing this about I am deeply sorry and offer my most sincere and humble apologies to our 3,500 architects and engineers, to all in the 9/11 Truth Movement, and especially to the amazing and hard-working AE911Truth staff and board, each of whom have a right to expect and to trust me to focus solely on the mission in all public statements and interviews on behalf of AE911Truth.
The AE911Truth board met and deliberated for hours in what was a very difficult debate for us all. In the end, the majority were convinced by the publicity consultant that my comments had become a PR problem for AE911Truth and could continue to undermine future efforts to break into mainstream media, and so the board made the very tough decision to ask for my resignation as CEO. The resulting resolution effectively removed me as CEO along with my employment with AE911Truth. (A subsequent resolution removed me from the board as well.)
While I and others argued against, and vociferously disagreed with the majority decision, and even while AE911Truth chose not to disclose the relevant truth about the resolution, leaving supporters with the mistaken impression that I had voluntarily retired, I do nevertheless sincerely believe that the board members in favor of the resolution were nevertheless acting with integrity and in good faith, and in the greater interest of AE911Truth and our stakeholders—each of you.
I have made thousands of friendships throughout the U.S. and the world and realize that many of you may not understand or agree with the decision of the board—but this is past. We must now come together and work harmoniously for the good of the 9/11 Truth Movement. The Truth Movement cannot afford to allow anything to distract us from the significant work ahead or to cause any further fracturing within it.
I created AE911Truth and poured 15 years of my life into it. I care deeply about it and remain committed to it—not just surviving but thriving in this new phase with broader leadership. I have confidence that AE911Truth will make even far greater contributions to the 9/11 Truth Movement going forward.
I am asking you to continue to support both AE911Truth, and, now, my new endeavor, in harmony at this critical time. I need to be able to remain active in the movement and to speak out for you and for our mutual goals.
From now on, I will be speaking publicly only on behalf of myself—”Richard Gage, AIA, Architect”, and the organization “RichardGage911”—and not on behalf of AE911Truth.
I have my own new website: RichardGage911.org. I hope that you will visit me there soon. Since I will never quit as a 9/11 truth leader, I’m also encouraging you to partner with me so that I will be able to continue to work effectively on your behalf. In order to do that please visit my Substack platform (similar to Patreon).
Also, please follow me on my new Twitter account, as well as on YouTube, FaceBook, and LinkedIn!
As I begin to create and accelerate my new role outside of AE911Truth, rest assured that I will continue to hammer on the wall of 9/11 Truth denial and I will be joining you in sending people, petition signers and donors over to AE911Truth. I am not in competition with AE911Truth. The 9/11 Truth Movement needs all of us and we are all working toward the same goal, so please be sure to continue to donate to AE911Truth.
I remain deeply committed to the 9/11 Family Members, to AE911Truth, and to all of our wonderful 9/11 Truth Movement activists, and I once again ask for your forgiveness. I need this grace in order to continue to be successful in my evolving role in 9/11 Truth.
Please join me and work with me as I re-dedicate my efforts to achieve our mutual goal—getting a real, unimpeachable, WTC investigation.
Gratefully,
Richard
Richard Gage, AIA, Architect
You are beautiful, Richard.
Richard I disagree with the boards decision to remove you for two reasons. First of all your comments regarding the covid fraud may have been blamed for Spike Lee pulling that section of his project containing the interviews but they were not the real reason. The read reason the interviews were pulled is that the corporate whore media of which Spike Lee is a part do not EVER want the truth of 9/11 exposed. The whore media are the primary cover-up agents for 9/11 and for the covid fraud along with all sorts of other crimes against humanity. Whore media is the primary enemy of the truth movement. Therefore you must know that they would have found ANY excuse to pull those interviews or scuttle the whole project. Your comments about the covid fraud had nothing to do with it, those interviews would never have seen the light of day regardless of what Spike Lee may have said. If 9/11 truth is ever fully realized by the people of earth the whore media will be found guilty of not only the cover-up but for lying us into the wars that followed. The media will be dismantled and its leaders will go to prison if 9/11 truth goes viral. So no way in hell can you be blamed for the whore media blocking those interviews. It is naive to the extreme to believe that those jackals would have ever given 9/11 truth a fair hearing since their very existence depends upon suppressing the truth. I would say the board and perhaps you yourself Richard need to stop fantasizing about the corporate whore media EVER telling the truth about 9/11 or covid for that matter. Don't blame yourself for them pulling those interviews, they were NEVER going to show them anyway I guarantee it. 9/11 truth advocates like yourself should know your enemy by now and that enemy is truly the corporate whore media.
The second reason their decision was wrong is that you have a right as a human being to express your opinions about other topics just like everyone else. Covid is a fraud and 9/11 was a fraud so you said nothing that wasn't true. At the very most the board should have asked you to write and post a letter stating that your opinions about covid are your own and they are not endorsed by A+E. PERIOD!!!
To be honest with you Richard the day you withdrew your support for CIT I lost my respect for you and for A+E because as I see it you and they threw the truth under the bus. Now today the board has thrown you under the bus for speaking the truth about covid. I am NOT impressed. When in the hell are truthers going to "get it" that you tell the truth no matter the cost and you do not negotiate about it. You do not consider the PR implications of the truth you just stand up for the truth and let the chips fall where they may. This is not the public relations movement it is the truth movement and by even considering public relations you are cutting the truths throat. Some truths are just uncomfortable and downright painful to hear but they must be told. You start softening the truth to make it less painful and concerning yourself with PR you just killed the truth without realizing it.
I will regain my respect for A+E and for you when you both start telling the unvarnished, uncomfortable, painful truth about 9/11 and you both stop with this fools errand of getting the corporate whore media to help us tell the truth to the masses. Both you and A+E should wear the scorn of the corporate media like a badge of honor because that is truly what it is. If any so called truther out there doesn't like what I have said here then perhaps they can join the A+E PR team and see how much I care about their scorn.
